Asked by Mike WoodConservativeCabinet OfficeTabled Answered 8 June 2026UIN 4208

The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the answer of 10 February 2026 to Question 105248, on Government Departments: Social Media, how many social media influencers were hired within the cost of £365,331.

Answered by Nick Thomas-Symonds

Government pays Content Creators to create content that reaches target audiences through their preferred channels.

The associated influencer spend supported collaborations with a range of content creators to deliver these campaigns.

Content Creators are paid fairly for their services, time and expertise in content creation.

All spending is strategically allocated to campaigns supporting government priorities and missions.
