The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the answer of 10 February 2026 to Question 108240 on Government Departments: Aviation, whether any planes have been commissioned through Cabinet Office Central Travel Contract since its inception.

Ministerial travel is undertaken in accordance with the Ministerial Code, ensuring efficiency and value for money for the taxpayer.

Since the inception of the Central Travel Contract on 1 September 2022, the department has commissioned an aircraft on 50 occasions in support of government ministers. This covers travel under both the current and previous administrations.
