Southeastern: Tickets
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many Southeastern operated stations had pay as you go facilities in (a) 2025 and (b) 2026 to date; and whether he expects Southeastern to achieve full pay as you go network coverage by 2027.
Answered by Keir Mather
At Southeastern stations, there is a combination of both Oyster and Pay As You Go (PAYG) with contactless enablement. In both 2025 and 2026, 69 stations were enabled for use with PAYG tickets. We are working with industry to consider any further expansion of PAYG technology.
