To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made an assessment of maternity staffing levels at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust since 2018.

As of March 2026, there are 409 full time equivalent midwives working in the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. This is 20, or 5.2%, more than last year and 20, or 5.2%, more than in March 2021.
