The standing members of the Board are the Deputy Prime Minister/Lord Chancellor, Lady Chief Justice (supported by a member of the senior judiciary); the Chair of the Judicial Appointments Commission; Chair of the Bar Council; President of the Law Society; President of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives; Chair of the Legal Services Board; Chief Executive of Judicial Office, and the Ministry of Justice Policy Director of Judicial and Legal Services Directorate.
The first meeting on 21 May 2026 was also attended by a CPS representative and two members of the Judiciary from the Race Working Group.
