Deputy Prime Minister: Visits Abroad

Asked by Nick TimothyConservativeMinistry of JusticeTabled Answered 8 June 2026UIN 4477

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how much has been spent on foreign travel for the Deputy Prime Minister since September 2025, broken down by each trip.

Answered by Jake Richards

The Ministry of Justice publishes details of ministers’ overseas travel and meetings every quarter. Information on the Deputy Prime Minister’s travel for September to December 2025 is available, with the next quarter due to be released shortly: Ministry of Justice data: gifts, hospitality, travel and meetings - GOV.UK.

Costs for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister are met from within the Department’s existing budget. Engagements completed on the Prime Minister's behalf, including international visits, are generally paid for by the Cabinet Office.
