To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, if he will set out how the volume of oil and oil products originating in Russia that are imported to the UK are tracked.

Importers are required to declare a country of origin (in line with the World Trade Organization rules of origin) in their import declaration. Trade data by country is available on HMRC’s UK Trade Info tool, available on GOV.uk.
