In accordance with planning and performance guidance issued by HMT and Cabinet Office to all government departments (detailed guidance which supplements the government’s planning and performance framework - GOV.UK), DWP have completed their annual business planning process for the financial year 2026/27 concluding with the Permanent Secretary issuing Delegated Spend Authority Letters and the production of a three-year Strategic Plan covering 2026-2029. The plan has been signed off by Secretary of State and submitted to HMT and Cabinet Office.
