The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of Lockheed Martin shutting the F-35B production line once the USMC has completed its programme of record on the RAF Lightning Force.

Future procurement for F-35B aircraft will be outlined in the forthcoming Defence Investment Plan, which will consider known programme factors, including the expected closure of the F-35B production line.
