The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment his Department has made of trends in the level of the use of non-English language campaign material during local and general elections.

The Government has no plans to assess or regulate the use of non-English language campaign materials at elections. Campaigners are permitted to use foreign languages to engage voters who come from a wide range of diverse backgrounds.
