The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the effectiveness of sponsor licence compliance inspections.

The latest data on the number of sponsor licence revocations can be found here: Migration transparency data - GOV.UK under the Sponsorship Transparency Data heading.

This shows that, under the current Government sponsor licence revocations have significantly increased and reached record figures.

We anticipate that this trajectory will continue and that it demonstrates the effectiveness of the compliance system.
