Government Departments: Freedom of Information
The question
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether his Department has released internal guidance under the Freedom of Information Act in the last 12 months.
Answered by Chris Ward
The Cabinet Office considers each request for information under the Freedom of Information Act on a case by case basis and in line with the legislation.
To identify whether the Department has released internal guidance would exceed the threshold and incur a disproportionate cost to the Cabinet Office as it would require examination of every FOI request where information was provided to the requester in the last 12 months.
