The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, what the level of Government funding is for research into Alzheimer's disease.

Between financial years 2020/21 and 2024/25, government funders spent £555.1million on dementia research, which covers all types of dementia including Alzheimer’s disease. This figure includes £144m in 2024/25 alone.
