Israel and USA: Lebanon
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether intelligence gathered from UK surveillance flights in the past 12 months over Lebanon has been shared with (a) the Government of Israel and (b) the Government of the United States.
Answered by Louise Sandher-Jones
The UK is not involved in Israeli actions in Lebanon and continues to call for a cessation to hostilities.
It is the Government’s longstanding position to not comment on intelligence operations and sharing arrangements to protect operational security.
