Charities: Finance

Asked by James McMurdockIndependentDepartment for Culture, Media and SportTabled Answered 16 June 2026UIN 7954

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what recent assessment she has made of regional disparities in access to charitable funding.

Answered by Stephanie Peacock

We recognise that there are regional disparities in access to charitable funding and DCMS takes this into account through its place targeting approach, to ensure there is fair and equitable access to our funding for the places that need it the most. DCMS’ place targeting approach is available at GOV.UK.
