The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, pursuant to the answer of 27 May 2026 to Question 2053 on Treaties: Parliamentary Scrutiny, whether she holds a list of Non-Legally Binding Instruments signed by her Department since July 2024.
Answered by Seema Malhotra
All UK treaties are recorded online, and can be searched for by country, at https://treaties.fcdo.gov.uk/responsive/app/consolidatedSearch/.
However, it has not been the practice, either before or after 4 July 2024, for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to maintain a central list of Non-Legally Binding Instruments, and going department-by-department or country-by-country to collate such a list now is something that could only be done at disproportionate cost.
