To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps she has taken with her counterparts in Northern Ireland to help improve connectivity between England and Northern Ireland.

The Government recognises the importance of strong transport connectivity between England and Northern Ireland. Whilst transport in Northern Ireland is largely a devolved matter, we work closely with ministers from the Northern Ireland Executive on the delivery of shared priorities through forums such as the Interministerial Group for Transport. This is complemented by engagement at official level. The Government continues to support connectivity through key aviation links, including the Public Service Obligation between City of Derry Airport and London Heathrow Airport.
