Answered by Simon Lightwood
The Secretary of State has regular discussions with the Mayor of Greater Manchester about a range of issues, including plans to upgrade and improve rail stations across Greater Manchester, which includes proposals for a new station at Golborne.
Since 2017, several of the stations above have been made accessible through joint investment from Transport for Greater Manchester and the Department’s Access for All programme.
