To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the answer of 9 March 2026 to Question 114500 on Data, Statistics and Research on Sex and Gender Independent Review, who the members are of the Health Statistics Leadership Forum; and on what dates it met in the last 12 months.

The current members of the Health and Care Statistics Leadership Forum are:

  • Deputy Director, Statistics and Data Science and Head of Profession for Statistics at the Department (Chair), and an appointed deputy;

  • Deputy Director for Population Health Analysis at the Department;

  • Deputy Director of Analysis – Clinical Outcomes and Indicators and Head of Profession for Statistics at NHS England;

  • Head of Data Science and Advance Analytics at NHS Business Services Authority;

  • Deputy Director for Population Statistics at the Office for National Statistics, and an appointed deputy;

  • Head of Profession for Statistics at UK Health Security Agency (currently vacant), and appointed deputies; and

  • Head of Quantitative Methods at Care Quality Commission.

In the last 12 months, the forum met on the following dates:

  • 10 June 2026;

  • 13 May 2026;

  • 22 April 2026;

  • 18 March 2026;

  • 11 February 2026;

  • 14 January 2026;

  • 26 November 2025;

  • 10 September 2025; and

  • 30 July 2025.
