To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what the average time is for the Building Safety Regulator to approve (a) remediation and (b) new build applications.

The Building Safety Regulator publishes Gateway 2 building control data on a monthly basis here.

Over the 12-week reporting period to 30 May 2026, the median time for approving validated Gateway 2 remediation and new build applications was 39 weeks and 22 weeks respectively.
