Active Travel: Public Transport

Local authorities are responsible for decisions about whether to plan and deliver mobility hubs in their areas and the Department for Transport does not track this activity. In April, the Department for Transport published guidance on what local transport authorities (LTAs) should include in their statutory local transport plans (LTPs). It is for LTAs to set out their transport policies and how they will implement them within their LTP. This includes how to integrate their transport services in line with Better Connected: A Strategy for Integrated Transport, which could include use of mobility hubs.
