The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 9 June 2026 to Question 6390 on Euston Station: Finance, what criteria her Department will use to determine whether private finance has been secured on acceptable terms for the proposed HS2 Euston station public-private partnership.

In line with the Government’s 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy, the Department will assess whether the proposed public-private partnership for HS2 Euston station is commercially viable, while offering risk transfer and capable of delivering value for money for taxpayers.
