USA: Red Arrows

Asked by Ben Obese-JectyConservativeMinistry of DefenceTabled Answered 19 June 2026UIN 8904

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 8 June 2026 to Question 5120 on USA: Red Arrows, if he will publish the bespoke risk assessment for transit to the United States that supplements the extant Hawk T1 Air System Safety Case.

Answered by Louise Sandher-Jones

Managing Hawk T1 operations to deliver safe outcomes is a core Defence activity. The Royal Air Force does not routinely publish bespoke risk assessments for the Red Arrows as they are continuously reviewed and updated, including during the preparation and execution of the Red Arrows transit to the USA.
