Travellers: Caravan Sites

Asked by Sir James CleverlyConservativeMinistry of Housing, Communities and Local GovernmentTabled Answered 24 June 2026UIN 9032

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what funding is being provided to local authorities in 2026-27 for authorised traveller sites following the abolition of the New Homes Bonus.

Answered by Matthew Pennycook

This government has no plans to issue a new round of the Traveller Site Fund established by the previous government in March 2022.

Traveller sites fall within the scope of the new £39bn Social and Affordable Homes Programme and I refer the Rt Hon. Member to the answer given to Question UIN 6421 on 12 June 2026.
