Asked by James MacClearyLiberal DemocratMinistry of DefenceTabled Answered 22 June 2026UIN 9480

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will provide an update on his Department’s plans to deliver a next generation Tactical Communication and Information Systems capability.

Answered by Luke Pollard

The Department’s plans for the next generation of Tactical Communication and Information Systems capability are being developed through the Army’s Land Domain Command, Control, Compute and Communication (LDC4) Programme.

LDC4 brings together and builds on the former Land Environment Tactical Communications and Information Systems (LETacCIS) Programme and its component projects and is intended to provide the framework for sustaining and modernising land tactical communications and information systems.
