Integrated Care Boards
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how will he ensure ICBs work closely with MPs.
Answered by Karin Smyth
Integrated care boards (ICBs) are responsible for managing their own local relationships, including engagement with Members of Parliament, in their areas. We expect ICBs to work constructively with MPs to ensure that local health services are responsive to the needs of their communities.
NHS England supports ICBs in effective stakeholder engagement, including through communications guidance and engagement sessions.
