International Science Partnerships Fund

Asked by Sarah ChampionLabourDepartment for Science, Innovation and TechnologyTabled Answered 23 June 2026UIN 9572

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, what is the a) total funding and b) contribution from Official Development Assistance for the International Science Partnerships Fund in the financial years 2026-27, 2027-28 and 2028-29.

Answered by Kanishka Narayan

The International Science Partnerships Fund has an Official Development Assistance allocation of £93 million in Financial Year 26/27, and £64 million in each of Financial Years 27/28, 28/29 and 29/30, totalling £285 million over this Spending Review period.

Non-Official Development Assistance funding is in the final stage of the HM Treasury Approvals Process. We expect to announce this amount upon completion of that process.
