Southbank Centre: Public Appointments
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, whether the Chair of the Southbank Centre is (a) a regulated public appointment and (b) subject to the Code of Conduct for Board Members of Public Bodies.
Answered by Ian Murray
The Southbank Centre is an independent arts institution and registered charity. Their board of governors is not included in the Public Appointments Order in Council 2025. The Chair is therefore not a regulated public appointment and not subject to the Code of Conduct for Board Members of Public Bodies.
