Data is regularly collected and published monthly on ambulance handover performance, both at ambulance trust and acute trust level. This data is available at the following two links:
No specific assessment has been made of the levels of handover performance variation within the East of England, however NHS England has introduced a maximum 45-minute “Release to Rescue” standard for ambulance handovers and supports the most challenged trusts to achieve this target.
