The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what progress has been made in upgrading the power and thermal management system (PTMS) of the F-35B Lightning II.

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) continue to explore a number of options for F-35B Enhanced Power and Cooling Systems. Once options are fully explored it will be a decision for the F-35 Program Partners on which to adopt.
