Department for Work and Pensions: Women against State Pension Inequality
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many meetings Ministers and officials in his Department have held with representatives of the Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) campaign since September 2024; and whether his Department has considered any requests for meetings or Alternative Dispute Resolution from WASPI during that period.
Answered by Torsten Bell
We have made our position on this matter clear as set out to Parliament on the 29 January 2026. Women Against State Pension Inequality Ltd (WASPI) are seeking permission from the High Court to bring a Judicial Review on our response to the Ombudsman’s report. We do not comment on live litigation.
