The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 19 May 2026 to Question 1157, whether he expects to publish proposals on the next steps for Emergency Lane Keeping Systems in vehicles before the end of 2026.

Further to my previous answer of 19 May 2026, officials are analysing consultation responses, including submissions from industry and other stakeholders. The Government expects to publish its response to the consultation, setting out next steps, by the end of 2026.
