Asked by Mike WoodConservativeCabinet OfficeTabled Answered 24 June 2026UIN 10643

The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 4 June 2026, to Question 3289, on Freedom of Information: Databases, whether the Fivium e-case database records the exemptions used where a FOI request is substantively refused; and whether it records a summary of the information requested.

Answered by Chris Ward

Cabinet Office records the full text of the FOI requests it receives and the exemptions applied in our responses. The exemptions applied are reported in the FOI statistics, which are published on a quarterly and annual basis, on Gov.UK at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/freedom-of-information-statistics.
