To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether he has held recent discussions regarding the Global Combat Air Programme with the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

As part of its close working relationship with HMT, the Chancellor and the Defence Secretary (as well as other Ministers and officials) regularly discuss many of MOD’s largest programmes, these discussions can include GCAP.
