The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many and what proportion of prisoners released under the Standard Determinate Sentence 40% Scheme were a) in settled accommodation within three months of their release, and b) in full-time employment within six months of their release.

Information on accommodation and employment outcomes for offenders in the Standard Determinate Sentences 40% (SDS40) scheme is not collected as a discrete dataset and therefore cannot be provided. Data relating to type of release is recorded on the Prison NOMIS system, while data on accommodation and employment outcomes is recorded on the probation nDelius system. This would require data matching and manual validation.
