Railway Stations: Air Conditioning
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 15 June 2026 to Question 7215 on Railway Stations: Nitrogen Dioxide, at which Network Rail managed stations ventilation upgrades, air cleaning technologies or other engineering interventions have been proposed, approved or installed since 2020; and what the cost was in each case.
Answered by Keir Mather
Many of Network Rail's Air Quality Implementation Plans contain milestones to assess the cost, feasibility and scope for funding different options. This information on the approval and funding of specific measures to improve air quality at Network Rail managed stations is not held centrally within Network Rail.
