Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists
The question
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the Office of the Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists has powers to fine individuals for breaches of the registration requirements if their consultant lobbying firm has subsequently become insolvent.
Answered by Nick Thomas-Symonds
The Registrar may levy fines against individuals under the civil sanctions regime of the 2014 Lobbying Act regardless of the solvency status of the associated consultant lobbying company.
