To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what is her estimate of the number of e-bikes registered as road vehicles in the UK.

No such estimate has been made. Advice for the public on the rules concerning e-bikes and when it is necessary to register them as road vehicles – in order to be legally used on the roads – has been published by the Department.
