The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 18 June 2026 to Question 10074 on Nuclear Weapons: Procurement, when his Department plans to complete its cost estimates on the Astraea programme.

Given the significant work involved in developing a new warhead, I do not expect that we will be in a position to complete costs estimates in this Parliament as the hon. Gentleman has requested. This is a multi-decade programme to support our nuclear deterrent.
