To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what data her Department holds on (a) National Crime Recording Standard outcomes for course-of-conduct domestic abuse reports recorded as Domestic Incident rather than as a recorded crime, and (b) the proportion of section 76 reports which result in a charging decision by the Crown Prosecution Service.

The Home Office collects information from the police forces of England and Wales on the crime outcomes of domestic abuse-related offences. These are published annually by the Office for National Statistics. The most recent data, for the year ending March 2025, can be found here: Domestic abuse in England and Wales overview - Office for National Statistics
The Home Office does not hold information on the outcomes assigned to domestic abuse-related incidents.
Information on police recorded crime outcomes for Controlling or Coercive Behaviour in an Intimate or Family Relationship (CCB) is published by the Home Office in Open Data Tables, available here: Police recorded crime and outcomes open data tables - GOV.UK
The decision to charge a suspect with a CCB offence is made by the CPS, therefore, in all CCB offences in the Open Data where a suspect has been charged, this decision has been made by the CPS. The Home Office does not hold information on CPS charging decisions.
