To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 21 May 2026 to Question 198 on MHCLG: Departmental responsibilities, over what time periods each of the six long-term spending commitments relate to; and what amount and proportion of each is currently funded in the Spending Review 2025.

Funding certainty is vital to give places the stability and confidence they need to plan, invest, and grow. The £62 billion of long-term funding commitments made by MHCLG and funded in the Spending Review period comprises:
i. £39 billion for the Social and Affordable Homes Programme, with funding committed between 2026-27 and until 2036-37.
ii. £14.8 billion to fund Mayoral Investment Funds across 19 Mayoral Strategic Authorities, including the six new areas due to be established via the Devolution Priority Programme, the earliest of which began in 2015-16 and with funding committed up until 2057-58 in some areas.
iii. £5.5 billion for 288 of our most in-need communities through the Pride in Place programme, with funding committed from 2024-25 in some places and up until 2035-36.
iv. £1.7 billion to fund the 13 Investment Zones across the UK, between 2024-25 and up to 2034-35.
v. £800 million for City Densification Funds, benefitting 6 Mayoral Strategic Authorities with funding committed between 2026-27 and 2030-31.
vi. £147 million for MHCLG’s portion of the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Programme, announced in 2021 with funding committed up until 2030-31.
