To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what steps he has taken to support the construction industry in Lincolnshire.

The Government is committed to delivering a National Infrastructure Pipeline, supported by up to £725 billion of public funding over the next decade, alongside the delivery of 1.5 million new homes. We are also investing £625 million to tackle skills shortages in the industry, and developing a Construction Jobs Plan as part of the Industrial Strategy.
The Commercial Payments Bill will accelerate payments to small businesses and ban the practice of retentions in construction contracts, helping small firms in construction supply chains.
