To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps she is taking to improve public transport connectivity between Birmingham Hodge Hill and Solihull North constituency and major employment sites at Birmingham Airport and the NEC.

The Government is supporting improvements to public transport connectivity in the West Midlands through the £2.4 billion Transport for City Regions settlement allocated to the West Midlands Combined Authority up to 2031/32. This devolved funding enables WMCA and the Mayor to determine how investment is prioritised across the region, including connections between Birmingham Hodge Hill and Solihull North and major employment sites such as Birmingham Airport and the NEC.
