The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 22 June to Question 10199 on Challenger Tanks: Procurement, whether he has authorised any change to the cost envelope of delivering Challenger 3.

Answered by Luke Pollard

I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave him on 24 June 2026, to Question 10201. The total approved cost of delivering the Challenger 3 programme remains at £1.9 billion. The programme’s forecast cost remains within the approved project estimate.
