The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, with reference to the Written Statement of 21 May 2026 on the Return to the Humble Address on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, if his Department will publish an index of all files searched, records withheld and redacted, and the reasons for each withholding or redaction, excluding material whose release would prejudice any live investigation.

Answered by Chris Bryant

The Government is committed to providing Parliament with all substantive material in scope of the Humble Address. Material is only being withheld and redacted for the reasons set out in the WMS HCWS57 and the response to the Humble Address laid on 21 May 2026 HC222.
