The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the oral contribution of the Deputy Prime Minister to the hon. Member for Huntingdon during the statement on the G7 Summit on 22 June 2026, when he plans to write to that hon. Member on the details of the new full international GCAP contract.

On 14 June the Prime Minister confirmed that the UK Government would proceed with the next international contract for the Global Combat Air Programme by the end of the month. Details of the international contract will be made available in due course.
