To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when she plans to launch the consultation on the proposed deforestation policy.

We will launch a consultation later this year on the approach to deforestation in Great Britain. We will seek views from businesses, civil society and international partners on our proposed policy.
We aim to achieve consistency in due diligence requirements for businesses working in both the UK internal market and EU single market.
