The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether he intends to review or uprate Public Duty Cost Allowance.

Answered by Nick Thomas-Symonds

The Public Duty Costs Allowance has an annual limit of £115,000.

The level of the limit is reviewed by the Prime Minister at the start of a Parliament and annually.

PDCA has been frozen at this level since 2011 and remains frozen for the 2026/27 financial year.
