Lord Mandelson

Asked by Alex BurghartConservativeCabinet OfficeTabled Answered 7 July 2026UIN 12789

The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether there be a Volume 3 response to the Humble Address on Lord Mandelson once the Metropolitan Police’s investigations have concluded.

Answered by Nick Thomas-Symonds

In line with the Government's statement to the House on 1 June 2026, a small number of documents have been withheld at the request of the Metropolitan Police to avoid prejudicing their ongoing investigation. The Government intends to publish this remaining material when it would no longer be prejudicial to do so. With the exception of these specific documents, the Government considers that it has fully discharged its duties under the Humble Address.
