Uncrewed Systems: Procurement
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many uncrewed ground vehicles have been procured by his Department for use with the British armed forces since 5 July 2024.
Answered by Luke Pollard
The Government is committed to developing robotic and autonomous systems to ensure the Armed Forces can meet current and future operational requirements.
Since 5 July 2024, the Ministry of Defence has procured 72 uncrewed ground vehicles and plans to procure additional platforms as part of the Army's modernisation programme.
Further investment decisions will be considered through the forthcoming Defence Investment Plan.
